The Auditorium

The Victorian Auditorium has comfortable, contemporary tiered seating for 800 people over two levels - the Stalls and the Circle. Depending on your event requirements, we can open just the lower stall seats to create a more intimate affair, or the full auditorium to accomodate larger crowds.

The Lounge & Bar

This space offers the perfect intimate setting for a casual meeting or cocktail event. With doors leading out on to a balcony, it provides a perfect viewing platform for local street art and to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city, while mingling and networking. 

The Annex

The Annex provides a wonderful and quirky backstage experience for small groups. This is for those events where you want a point of difference, such as a small wedding reception, birthday or family celebration. 

The Workshop

The Workshop houses a number of set design and prop materials. It also doubles as a break out space that can be utilised with larger groups (eg. school groups). It is adjacent to the Annex and can be closed off when required.

Stage Area

With a stage width of 13.4m between the arch (including the wings) and a depth of 13.4m from the back to the front, the Opera House stage is perfect for your next performance. Whether it is a musical, concert, school production or something else - we have many options available to create a stage space to suit your needs!

Dressing Rooms

Within the Opera House there are several purpose built dressing rooms (of various sizes) that are perfect for performers. Additionally the basement can be utilised for larger groups.

Alternatively the dressing rooms can be ultilised for break out spaces, or meeting rooms for small groups. 

The Box Office

The Box Office is open Monday to Friday between 10am to 1.30pm and is your one stop shop for all ticketing requirements. Our dedicated Ticketing & Tour Coordinators can work with you as a Hirer to get your event ticketing requirements sorted.
